Catalina's Milky Way Dreams
(c) Re- Written 2024 - By The Depressed Poet, Doc Dalton
Shooting Stars and fast moving CarsRumble through the roads of my mindTick-e-ty Tock, the old sounds of the clockSay's it's almost a quarter past nine
The moons surely rising, the stars are a glidingAnd Mr. Sandman is ready to roamHurry off to bed and put your pillow under your headHe might just be visiting you tonight at homeDrifting off to sleep is such a wonderful featAdventures you'll enjoy on your ownMaking new friends on a journey to no endA secrete life that is yours all aloneDon't be afraid of those gobble lee goo'sOr those pirates drifting to sea on their boatsThere's no need to worry there just in your dreamsLike rainbow clouds and cotton candy floatsOh that sky's full of colors of make believe wondersExciting every step of the wayCan't you let me stay for just a little bit longerPlease, don't take my Dreams a wayTo see this through a child's eyesOn the path to where stars brightly beamThrough a different world of twist and twirlsWon't you come to my Milky Way DreamsWe could have so much funUnder an ice cream sun and laugh our time awaySing some M & M songs the whole day longUntil we awake to brand new day
Pluto say's hey kiddo don't get out of bedAs Snakel Puss laughs and says, ah it's OKKKKKKKKPopeye yell's, were gone in a minute after I eat me spinachPoo say's all aboard my Banana Split SleighOh that Sky's full of colors of make believe wondersExciting every step of the wayCan't you let me stay for just a little bit longerWorry not Catalina, we won't take your Dreams a way
To see this through a child's eyesOn the path to where stars brightly beamThrough a different world of twist and twirlsWon't you come to my Milky Way Dreams
Catalina say's, please come join me, on my Milky Way Dreams

There are moments in one's life when it feels as if you close your eyes one moment and when opening them the next somehow, in some sad yet magical way, years have quickly passed by and personally that scares me. For me that deals with reality and no matter how much time you are granted here on earth, deep down inside, you always want more. As the years go by you mature and start to understand more clearly about life and one's journey, and how all those things that were so very important to you in yesterday, don't mean a damn thing to you today and more than likely will not even be remembered tomorrow. The alarming part of all this is, when that moment comes and you say to yourself, dear Lord, what about me, will I be remembered tomorrow, will I have mattered just enough in some small way that someone might remember me. It has made me realize on more than one occasion that I may not have a choice on how long I am here, but I do have a choice while I am here on how I should be, how I should act and how I should treat others. Hoping that the everlasting mark that I would personally like to leave on this planet is one of kindness. Yet, there are so many acts within that one word called kindness that can be explored. The act of understanding. The act of friendship. The act of forgiving. The act of caring such as a pat on the back to let someone know it will be OK. The simple act of just being there even if it is in silence to show support is important. Your words can be an act of kindness as well in countless ways so please take note, watch your words, make sure your words are encouraging and more importantly, they are words of God. Ask yourself this question, would God be proud of me for what I do and say.? It's not only a great place for you to start but a great place for you to be as well. Live your life in the realm of gratitude and appreciation and you can teach others the same just by being you. No one is perfect and we are not supposed to be, but we can all understand that it is a daily process of being good and kind or even God-like that can bring us to where we are today. Because when all is said and done, we may not know how much time we have here, but the truth is, we know how we should be living that time here. Just remember, it could all end within the blink of an eye but live your life correctly, and you will be only a few steps away from Heaven. Think about it, what a small price to pay here for such a giant reward you will receive over there. Enjoy your journey. embrace it, welcome it and be grateful for it. And with that being said please, Let Me Wish You a Wonderful Trip.
