Have you ever taken the time to simply sit back and watch what I call the dancing of the leaves? The beauty within their dance is as if they somehow created a rhythm in unison with one another, while the passing breeze magically became their secret instructor. As crazy as it might sound, the leaves have so much to offer during so many different moments in life.
Imagine walking outside early in the morning after the night has coated the world with a gentle shower. The sun shines brightly while the leaves glisten like diamonds at the tops of the trees. They sparkle, shine, and sway as if personally greeting you with a special good morning, once again dancing beautifully with the wind while the sky becomes their own private backdrop.
It is a beauty that should be appreciated in the quiet of the morning with your favorite cup of joe in hand. It is a peace and calm unlike any other - your own special moment of heaven on earth. Take it in and enjoy it to the fullest.
And we cannot forget the birds within all of this. God's beautiful little creatures with wings that fly from branch to branch, never seeming to take the same path twice. They land each time with elegance and grace, resting among the beauty of the leaves as though they were painted into the scene itself. A gift from God that costs you nothing except a moment of your time to enjoy. It would be a shame to waste it, and even worse not to share it. Enjoy it - it is yours.
Then there is the nighttime, when it all becomes beautiful in countless different ways. With the leaves swaying back and forth beneath a moonlit sky, the moment can almost place you into a hypnotic state of peace beyond imagination. The stars become the backdrop while the moon brightens the sky with its gentle light. The leaves dance as if Van Morrison is softly singing his classic hit Moondance somewhere in the distance.
At that moment, the beauty becomes almost impossible to explain - and truthfully, why would you even want to? This is the time to simply sit back, enjoy, and be grateful.
